Time to tell you about the next two types of seed potatoes we will have available for you in a few weeks time, and these are crackers!

The first is the Salad Blue potato, a Victorian variety believed to have been cultivated in Scotland in the early 1900s. It has a blue/purple flesh and lends itself to a variety of uses. A true heritage classic. The second one today is an early main crop variety, Lady Balfour. Named after Eve Balfour, who inspired the soil association and was the pioneer of the organic movement, it is a lovely cream skinned potato with pale yellow flesh.
